Finally!!

I broke down today and finally rented a storage space for $75/mo. I unloaded the truck directly into Unit 13. That's thirteen, for good luck. It was with great relief that I was able to offload one load to the new space.

MPL's gallbladderectomy has been successful but we can't leave till he pees.

So, there is a hurricane headed this way. Could that explain why they have been filling sandbags all day long?

My beach “look”...

Getting lots of sun tho' today is rainy and much cooler. Off to the beach in a few minutes.

Deluge!

We went to the boardwalk to do some shopping and monstrous black clouds growled in from the West. We wisely headed over to grab the bus just as the skies let loose their furious downpour.

We took the bus as far north as it runs (145th Street) and the street flooding was tremendous.

By the time our return trip got us to 36th Street, the rain had abated enough for us to make it back to the room without getting drenched.
